is in the business of protecting

structures since 1959.
Mr. Lightning works in one of
the most active and intense lightning
strike areas in the country,
and has first hand experience
in lightning related damage and
its prevention. In Colorado Springs
alone, more than 13,000 lightning
strikes occurred last year. That’s more
than 18.1 strikes per square mile! That is the second highest in the
nation!
As the Presidents of Mr. Lightning,
Allen Corey and Bret Peifer,
are certified by the National
Lightning Protection Institute
as "Master
Lightning Protection System Installers" and a "Master Designer"
for both lightning and grounding systems. In addition to that, they
are qualified designers of surge suppression systems.
The company employs the largest
team of certified individuals
in the state of Colorado. All
of their installers have been
certified by the Lightning Protection
Institute as Journeymen or apprentices.
Mr. Lightning continues to research
and use only the best and most
appropriate and approved materials
and techniques on its protection
projects.

Mr. Lightning Certifications
Mr. Lightning provides each of their employees with the most up to date information on Lightning Protection. They each go through an apprenticeship program until they become certified by the Lightning Protection Institute. To obtain these certifications, their employees must achieve a considerable amount of practical knowledge as well as pass several tests.
